Continuing Education – Learning from our mistakes

Seeing all of the different garden configurations makes me think that we have an opportunity to learn from one another. I see some spectacular successes and some not so spectacular successes, but since I have no idea what the objective was it’s hard to say which is which.

I’ll give you an example. I am in Box #1. Last Spring I had this brilliant idea to plant some garlic. Never planted it before, but I thought, “How hard can it be?” Here’s what I learned from that blank spot in Box #1….garlic grows best if you plant it in the Fall! So now I know.

I’d like to set up an information exchange using the Blog. I’m sure everyone has a story about something you’ve learned,  observed, or would like to ask about this year. Why not drop me a line and I will post your comments on the Blog so everyone can learn from all of our collective mistakes/insights. Please include your Box number…just for fun.

I look forward to hearing from you

Thanks

Eldon
