Planting the 150th Celebration Garden

After 2 weeks of frantic planning and organizing, on Saturday, October 15, 2016,  The Botanical Gardens hosted the planting of the 150th Celebration Garden. Dignitaries, volunteers, community members, seniors, the choir of the Church of Latter-Day Saints, and children were all in attendance. Our agenda for the day looked like this:

Gerry Young et al were present to photographically document the proceedings from breaking ground to designing the maple leaf, to photographing the speakers and finally to tulip planting by members of the community. They were verrrry prolific so there is a short version and a longer version, take your pick, or watch both.
